Q: How does your WOL/OC tend to act when drunk?
A: she's that one person that gets absolutely black-out sloshed and then wakes up perfectly fine the next morning, every single time. she likes how alcohol makes her feel and drinks whenever it's appropriate, especially during celebrations. she gets very loud and excitable, but she never crosses boundaries or gets angry, even if someone else tries to start something. she is Hydaelyn's most perfect partygirl & strongest soldier.
Q: Is your OC a Warrior of Light or an ‘NPC’? Why?
A: Vathdan isn't involved in the MSQ at all, in neither of the other two's universes or her's; she just does her own thing.
initially both her and Auv were just made for fun, since i just like designing new characters in general. it's kindof a hobby for me at this point LOL. the main reason she didn't end up as a WoL is that it would've been yet another non-Azem-shard character to have to figure out the story for, and i wouldn't have felt satisfied just copying Ceh's homework. not to mention it would've also been ANOTHER alt to potentially have to run thru the MSQ, and. just. nah. i'm good. she's good.

A: she partook of the wineTM as necessary during church, but in all honesty she's not a huge fan of alcohol. if anything it just brings up bad memories. regardless, she prefers having a clear, sober mind.

Q: Is there any hobbies or interests that you share with your WOL?
A: i gave Kihceh my love of jewelry 💖 he was always fascinated by beadwork and gemsmithing even as a small thing, and eventually working with Serendipity helped to broaden his horizons even further. he ends up as a private jeweler that deals primarily with custom orders.
Q: Where do they live canonically?
A: Kihceh eventually moves back home to Hazhi Olzhirya after endwalker, with Landenel's cottage in the Shroud ending up as a sort of 'vacation home' back in Eorzea. before that, he stayed at the Rising Stones, and before THAT he stayed in his inn room in Limsa.

A: so i'm not rly the type to make full-on playlists for OCs (i just don't think about it enough tbh) but i will say that this oldie came back around since i started fleshing out Kihceh's story. it is timeless, i fear.

A: Landenel is & will always be Kihceh's main squeeze but i also have fun 'what-ifs' in conjunction with their relationship; Carvallain (they run into each other a lot in Limsa), that one blond elezen that guards Kan-E-Senna (constantly keep catching each others eye), and Valdeaulin.
Valdeaulin is a suuuper reach by me since Kihceh doesn't canonically do the Werlyt quests, but he's just so foine... how could i possibly ignore him. not nearly enough hot duskwight men in the MSQ.
Q: What is a title that your WOL/OC uses in game that is relevant to their lore?
A: Kihceh uses the title given from the level 70 black mage quest; Gembreaker.

A: Landenel is almost two feet taller than Kihceh LOL.. they face the usual 'issues,' like having to lean up/down at the same time for kissies or else they can't reach, but nothing too ridiculous.
it helps that they both very much enjoy the size difference. Kihceh especially loooves feeling small.
Q: What emotion/sound sold you on the voice you chose for your character?
A: i liked how soft and slightly raspy it was, but the chuckle and polite little 'mhm :3' REALLY sold me on it. the doze is also super cute but i didn't know about that until later obvs.

A: YESSS i love doing this with animalistic humanoid races. Kihceh can purr, growl, hiss, he grooms his face, and he bristles when upset.
Q: How good is your WOL/OC at following orders?
A: early on, Kihceh was a little TOO good at obeying the word of anyone who seemed to be his 'superior.' starting around SB-ShB, the only people he listened to were the Scions. for better or worse.
and in current day, he can still be fairly obedient—towards only a small handful of people.
Q: Does your WOL/OC like getting rough during sex?
A: Kihceh only likes the very slight, stinging pressure of teeth against his skin; nothing more. he bruises easily so it doesn't take much for him to get marked up, which he does enjoy, but not to the point of breaking skin.

A: Kihceh is playing & hanging out in the water for at LEAST an hour before winding down back on the sand, stretched out on a towel underneath an umbrella's shade, looking cute as hell in their shortshort swim trunks the entire time. <3
Q: How does your WOL/OC handle someone yelling at them?
A: before, Kihceh would've clammed up and stared at the ground, ears and tail low and arms crossed tightly across his chest to self-soothe. if they demand any kind of reply, his voice is quiet and his tone submissive.
now, he immediately shuts down yelling with a firm slam of his staff and an intense glare. 'if you can't control yourself to not raise your voice when you speak to me, then we will not be having any sort of conversation until you can.' he works on a two strikes, you're out rule set.
(admittedly, tho, he does give his children significant leniency in this department)
Q: Does your WOL/OC have any disabilities or conditions?
A: i need to do a bit more in depth research to nail down a specific type, but Kihceh has a form of primary immunodeficiency; he gets & stays sick easily and also gets infections easily. it isn't so severe that it's majorly life-threatening, but it can potentially get bad if he doesn't keep an eye on things, especially any wounds he gets.
on top of overall increased frailness, he also experiences random joint pain after ShB. on his worst days he can barely do simple chores around the house, but extra rest and massages help to relieve the pain(which Landenel is happy to assist with 💕).

i don't have anything official written out right now so here's this Thing i typed up a few months back detailing some stuff KUXULREEL-KA | 'immortal/undying warrior' - name he uses now is not his hatchname, chose his new name out of defiance - has had innate strength and notable fighting prowess since he was young - thinks himself above death/reincarnation, as he's convinced that whoever or whatever he reincarnates into will be weaker than his current life and he can't stand the thought (1)very important to note that he does still believe in reincarnation as most saxhleel, he simply believes that he's 'above it') - eventually denounced his village as all being 'weaklings,' and left soon after he matured - still has a strong connection to the Hist, and does not see how he's doing anything 'wrong' or untoward; as far as he's concerned, he's simply following the path that the Hist has shaped for him(1)as such, during his travels outside of Black Marsh, every few months he makes the brief journey back to bask in the prescence of the Hist, as he gets terribly homesick otherwise(2)these journeys are very much just journeys, though, and nothing more; at least, for now. he doesn't completely dismiss the thought of returning home permanently one day, but not in this current stage of his life) - traveled in Morrowind for a year or so before getting tired of the ash drying out his scales all the time. loved the siltstriders and the cuisine tho - traveled in Cyrodiil for three years, where he repeatedly kept getting into hot water with several different bandit groups because their leaders all wanted him to join because of what a powerhouse he was and he just kept refusing them each time(1)he has no qualms with killing someone even over petty shit, but not just random innocent people that haven't so much as looked at him, which is what the vast majority of the groups often did) - no matter where he went throughout the years, he never saw much disdain or mistrust from strangers that would've otherwise been shitty about him being an argonian, because 'holy fuck why is that guy so big'; people were often too busy being fascinated by his stature to focus on his race(1)there would probably be rumors floating around about an 'argonian behemoth' at various points in his travels)

Alex was born to a mexican immigrant mother and white american father. while his mother did everything she could to give him a good childhood, his father's abusive personality made things difficult for both of them. he had to hide a lot of himself when he was home out of fear of backlash if his father didn't approve. at school, he was able to let his guard down and talk about his interests among his peers, which eventually led to him meeting Mitch in middle school, in computer science classes. in his mid-to-late teens he took up parkour, and getting involved in the local community broadened his horizons even further. as the years went on he became more and more disillusioned with his father's ideals and made increasing efforts to learn about his mother's side of the family and that part of his heritage. when he was 17, his father's abuse reached a breaking point, and late one afternoon he flew into a rage after learning that his mother wanted to take Alex to mexico for a family trip. the one-sided argument turned physical, and when Alex tried to intervene he was thrown to the ground and knocked unconscious. the neighbours heard the commotion and called the police, which saved Alex but not his mother. his injuries put him in a coma for a week, and ultimately left him with life-long memory issues. Mitch and his sisters stayed with him at the hospital for most of the time, keeping him company and trying to help soothe his grief. once Alex was well enough, there was a court hearing wherein a judge granted him emancipation after ruling out all other options(both parents out of the question for obvious reasons, mother's side is unavailable, father's side is complicit in his abuse), and with his newfound freedom he decided to move in with Mitch. over the next three years, Alex does his best to cope with his mother's passing, and continue on with his life. he gets a simple job at a grocery store to help with bills, and eventually enters a relationship with Mitch after much internal deliberating on if his feelings were returned.
